Jargonist Inc. was established in 2020 by Columbia University's Teachers College to connect artists, organizations, and communities in need through creative practice during quarantine. We began all online and then emerged with the rest of the world as Covid-19 lifted. 
Jargonist brings artists into many different worlds to help imagine, make, teach, problem-solve, and build together. Our artists exhibit online and connect to creative projects in business and communities to sustain creative and social practices. Jargonist: Connecting artists to communities in need since 2020Jargonist is a women-run&#38;nbsp; 501(c)3 artist consultancy that connects your orginization or business to a vast nestwork of exceptional artists. Founded in 2020 with the help of Columbia University’s Teachers College this collective of artistis and creative workers is an inernational network. Our mission is to help your orginization, business, or community (small projects welcome) access trained and experienced professional artists.&#38;nbsp;With over two-hundred artists in our network we bring artists into the work—as makers, teachers, collaborators, problem-solvers, and creative thinkers—to help communities develop programs, campaigns, objects, spaces, murals, workshops, and new ways of engaging the people they serv.&#38;nbsp;At the same time, we create opportunities for artists to bring their practices and activism into the communities and causes they care about, including the lesser-known and often unseen parts of their work. We know that esteemed artists still want to remain private and take time to follow their many passions, not just produce their own art. We believe artists have more to offer than what fits inside a gallery.

jargonist is hosted by Kristina Bivona and was founded in 2019 during the Covid quarantine with support from a diversity initiative at Columbia University. Since then Bivona has sustained jargonist as a curated online collection with installations by Lex Brown, Ash Arder, Pieza Domino by Daniel Almeida, Dulce Lamarca, &#38;amp;&#38;nbsp;Maximilian Julia, Eric Mason, Ciara Newton, Torey Akers, art collective Bruxas Bruxas, curatorial collaborator Gerald Brown exhibiting “Thee Architects” Eugene Ofori, Joann Quiñones, Rodrigo Lara, Paul Briggs, Isaac Scott, Habiba El-Sayad, Malene Barnett, artist and curatorial collaborator Robyn A. Gibson, Xiang Long Li, Emma Bergman and James Jones, and collective podcast The Artist Confluence by Liza Sokolovskaya and Emily Carrig, and special inclusions by Tamara Santibanez,&#38;nbsp; Mykki Blanko and Adinah Dancyger .
